Endowment House (LDS Church), Sealings of couples, living and by proxy, 1851-1889 (Salt Lake City, Utah: Filmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah, 1958, 1978), Sealing of Leonard Smith Conger and Elizth Roberts Sanders, 24 Aug 1855, p. 6.

Proof Summary There are three conflicting dates for Elizabeth's birth. On Elizabeth's death certificate, the informant (Mrs. D. J. Smith) gave Elizabeth's birth date as 4 Jan 1833. However, at the marriage of Elizabeth and Leonard Conger in 1855, Elizabeth provided a birth date of 4 Jul 1834. In the 1900 US Federal Census, Elizabeth's birth date was given as Jan. 1834. Since the birth date of 4 Jul 1834 was provided (most likely by Elizabeth herself) in a church record during Elizabeth's lifetime, it is most likely the correct date.
