Proof Summary Caroline's death date was listed as: 14 Nov 1855. All other records so far had said that her death date was: 26 March 1853. There is no original image online to look at to verify on www.ancestry.com. This record also said her burial date was: 26 Mar 1853, but this does not make sense. She could not have been buried first, and then have died 2 1/2 years later. A Probate record that was found was dated: 21 Oct 1855. This probate record was for guardianship of daughter's, Caroline L. Raleigh and Susan Raleigh. A. H. Raleigh was in court 31 December 1855. He received $800.00 bond, and guardianship of his two daughters. Caroline would have died before 31 December 1855, as she was considered passed away by this time.
